Made some progress on this thing. Lots of hot water baths before things lined up like I wanted. Truth be told, these sides of the fuselage where wonky and really discouraged me from starting this project.
To maintain alignment on the two sides, I pinned the front and rear. Once I had re-heated and shaped for a good fit, the pins kept things in place while the glue dried and provided extra structural stability. I'll cover the holes with greenstuff in the "seam sealing" phase, so you won't even see these on the final model.
